Lawn care and exterior services across Louisville
The GroundHog Guys serves Louisville and the neighborhoods around it, from the older streets inside the Watterson down to the newer subdivisions in the eastern and southern parts of Jefferson County. Most crews can quote a mowing route in a day; we would rather send one truck that already works your street, which is why our schedule is grouped by area and why neighbors often book the same week.
A yard in Louisville has its own problems. Heavy clay soil holds water after a summer storm, so drainage work is a big part of what we do — regrading, French drains, and downspout extensions that move water away from the foundation instead of into the crawlspace. Shade from mature trees keeps fescue thin, so we adjust mowing height and aeration timing instead of cutting the same way everywhere. Gutters fill fast under the same trees, and decks take a beating from humidity, which is why cleaning, sealing, and board replacement show up on so many of our tickets.
If you are inside one of the areas listed below, we can usually give you a free estimate within a couple of days. Send a message with your address and what you need, and we will tell you honestly whether we cover it and what it will cost.

Louisville — Highlands, Germantown & Clifton
Jefferson CountyOlder city lots with mature trees, narrow alleys, and tight back gates. We hand-cut where a rider will not fit, edge the curbs, and bag clippings when the yard is too wet to mulch. Gutter cleaning and downspout work are common here because of the tree canopy.
